Isn’t it amazing what can happen in a week? A week ago we advised that
school closed over the weekend, we would let you know. It seems like many months have passed since then. We are sure it feels the same for you.
Today, we received a
from Alberta Education, which we are passing along for your review.
As a community, we are navigating beautifully through all the changes. We are so impressed by the nimble response of our faculty, and the development of the home/school connection that is our new interim reality. It’s wonderful to see the dedication to the ongoing feeling of community that we all deeply value, and of course, the continued education and formation of your children.
Beyond your daily contact with teachers, we are working on ways to keep you feeling associated with school life and we hope these initiatives provide stability and connectedness for you, namely:
- We are continuing to produce the Weekly for ongoing information and helpful resources
- Mr. Forrester will resume daily morning announcements next week via social media and our website
- Lori Blais (Elementary) and Darren Forrester (Secondary) have written new letters with important updates as we move into week 2 of Interim Home Learning. See below.
As Christians, we are called to live joyfully in all circumstances and the CWA community is certainly living this well! Let’s continue to pray for each other, lean on each other, and share our experiences. We are in this together and we are united in Christ!
