Interlink Electronics Announces Upgrades to Ozone Sensor Product Line

Ozone, a natural substance, is employed in innovative ways in many application areas as an environmentally and economically sustainable solution. Interlink Electronics is pleased to announce the SM-500, a fully calibrated ozone sensor instrument that utilizes a state-of-the-art electrochemical (EC) ozone sensing element. It incorporates several key features that make it particularly useful for applications such as commercial laundry, odor remediation, commercial food preservation and storage, and water treatment. Key features include:

  • Integrates seamlessly with Eco Sensors’ OS-4 or OS-6 Ozone Controllers
  • Includes a user-replaceable calibrated sensor module (RME-O3) that enables users to easily maintain calibration requirements
  • Available with standard calibration ranges of 0-20 ppm and 1-50 ppm
  • USB micro-b port for optional power and serial communication 
  • Convenient data configurations: RS-232 transmission and 0-2V buffered analog output
  • Temperature and relative humidity sensor data included in the digital output

Announcing New R&D Initiatives

Interlink is pleased to announce two development grants received recently as part of US government’s SBIR support program, one from National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and another from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). These awards are a clear recognition of Interlink’s long-standing and pioneering work in gas sensing, as well as our leading position in this space.

  • The NIST award will enable us to develop advanced manufacturing techniques such as roll-to-roll (R2R) printing for electrochemical gas sensors to enable and meet large-volume printed sensor demand for new, emerging applications.


  • The NOAA award is specifically in recognition of our expertise in sensing gases that impact air quality. This grant aims to develop advanced integrated and miniaturized systems to provide useful information regarding air quality as impacted by wildfires.
