If you are a Bernese Mountain Dog lover and live in the UK or wish to visit from abroad, the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Great Britain Golden Jubilee is not to be missed.

Dramatically set in the ancient Forest of Dean, on the cusp of Wales and the magical Wye Valley, the Golden Jubilee is a chock-a-block filled 5 days of Bernese education, competitions, fun and excitement.

The Jubilee will kick off with a BIWG (Berner International Working Group) meeting followed by an International Health Symposium featuring international speakers and experts on the health of the Breed.

Friday and Saturday boast two full days, including THREE Championship Dog Shows, as well as Obedience, Junior Handling, KC Good Citizens and Character testing. There will also be a Swiss Breeds event on Saturday, inviting all Swiss Breeds to come and join in the fun.
No Bernese event would be complete without draft! There will be two days of themed carting events and parades, as well as the possibility to start your own Berner off on its first try at pulling a cart. Bernese carting experts will be on hand to support you and your beloved Berner to get you both started in this wonderful activity.

Networking! The evenings will host a number of networking events, including a Berner Bar, a Hog Roast, a traditional "Fish & Chips" evening, but most importantly, a Health Auction where 100% of the proceeds will go towards the Bernese Health Initiative.
