During winter and spring break many International Students studying in the USA have a problem. 
The dorms close their doors and students must find another place to stay until break is over. 
It is often too expensive to fly home.  What to do??

Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration and Community Service

It will take many years to recover from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and other disasters that have plagued the Gulf Coast. CC International has been organizing teams to address the needs of these communities on the Gulf Coast.

Volunteers have planted thousands of trees, built miles of oyster reef, cleaned up rivers, removed invasive species, restored wildlife habitat, and helped to restore the gulf coast's fragile ecosystem. 

In addition to responding to the environmental needs, volunteers have helped communities address urgent needs in the areas of early childhood education, homelessness, and poverty. 

We have plenty of projects for 2013-2014. Let us know if you want to send a volunteer team.

New Sea Turtle Project in 
Costa Rica 
   
Sea Turtle Monitoring and Habitat Restoration in 
Costa Rica 
Your volunteer team will provide hands on support to the Sea Turtle Biological Station on Costa Rica's Pacific coast.  

The project focuses on Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata) and Eastern Pacific Green turtles (Chelonia mydas). Volunteers work hands on with biologists to carry out in-water studies and operate the rescue and rehabilitation center. Often sea turtles suffer trauma from boats and fishing and many are infected by parasites, our rescue center rehabilitates these turtles and releases them back into the wild.. Our rehab facility has nine tanks and our biologists follow international best practices.
