We’ve had a fun and busy semester with our Friday night Global Café Bible study. This spring we walked through the stories from the Word to see God’s plan of salvation from creation, the fall, and redemption in Christ. Our monthly socials brought students and volunteers together to celebrate Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter! At Easter around 100 guests enjoyed a meal, outdoor games, and the sharing of the Easter story as well as singing several gospel-centered hymns. One student shared, “This is the first time I’ve ever celebrated Easter. It was a great party- I especially liked the music!” Music has a way of transcending cultural and lingual barriers, and we are grateful to God for this opportunity to proclaim Truth though song and word! |
