Announcement from SEVIS Team
|
For Summer term, all NEW F-1 international students will be required to be in Portland, Oregon and enroll full-time, with a minimum of one in-person class each term.
Starting in Fall term, ALL F-1 international students will be required to be in Portland, Oregon and enroll full-time, with a minimum of one in-person class each term.
SUMMER TERM DEADLINES
Withdrawal Deadline: The last day to withdraw is Saturday, September 3 at 10:00 PM. You can withdraw from your class through MyPCC. Please speak with your SEVIS Coordinator BEFORE you drop or withdraw from any of your classes.
Grading Option Deadline: The last day to change grading options for a class is also Saturday, September 3 at 10:00 PM.
FALL 2022 TERM REGISTRATION UPDATES
Fall 2022 term registration began on Monday, June 27, 2022. The class schedule is available online.
Be sure to pay your tuition before the payment deadline: Monday, September 12, 2022 Students who do not make a payment or sign up for the payment plan before the payment deadline will be dropped from ALL classes.

NOTE: You cannot register for classes if you have a hold. If you have holds preventing you from registering, you can contact OISS for assistance on how to remove them.
Common holds:
Health Insurance hold: send your PacificSource payment confirmation to [email protected].
Mandatory SEVIS Check-In hold: contact the SEVIS team
Financial hold: Pay your balance immediately through MyPCC, or contact Student Accounts to find out more information.
TRANSFER OUT
Required Documents: PCC requires the following documents to transfer your SEVIS record to another SEVP Certified educational institution. Email the SEVIS team to receive the forms.
PCC SEVIS Transfer Request Form
PCC Insurance Termination Form
Admission (acceptance) letter from new school
Transfer-In Form from new school
Deadline:
Currently Enrolled Students: by Monday, September 26, 2022 of Fall 2022 term
Graduating Students: within your 60 day grace period
OPT Students: within 60 days of your OPT grace period
Important Information:
A transfer is not guaranteed if you do not submit all required documentation by the stated deadline.
A transfer may be delayed if you have account holds or have not paid your PCC account balance.
Your SEVIS transfer release date will be the last day of the term, unless otherwise requested.
Upon the release of your SEVIS record, on-campus employment at PCC is no longer permitted.
Upon the release of your SEVIS record, including during your 60-day grace period, you will no longer be covered by PCC’s health insurance.
After the release date PCC cannot make any changes to your SEVIS record.

You will keep the same great and robust coverage from PacificSource,
but the premium is changing to $657 per term.
Students will use the same payment portal as last term!

Free At Home COVID-19 Tests

Order a free at-home COVID-19 testing kit through the United States Postal Service! Limited to four (4) tests per household.

Get Your Flu Shot for Free
To get your annual flu shot, all you need to do is show your PacificSource Member ID to an in-network doctor, or at pharmacies including Albertsons, CVS, Costco, Fred Meyer, Kroger, and Safeway.
Below you'll find flu shot benefit info, tips on where to get your shot, and reasons why it's a great idea.

You can use it for both medical and mental health issues.
If you need to be tested for COVID-19, the testing (including co-pay) is covered by your PacificSource health insurance.

The Cascade Bookstore is now hiring for Fall term!
They are looking for students to help with cashiering, customer service, filling, processing online orders and helping the textbook department.
If you are interested please email, [email protected] or stop by the Cascade Bookstore, Cascade Campus MAHB Room 100 and pick up a no stress application.
Their current hours of operation are Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu 9AM-3 PM, hours will expand Fall term. When possible, work schedules are customized to fit your class schedule.

ESOL Club meets every Monday from 2PM-3PM, you can see their schedule HERE
Each meeting will have a different topic for discussion, sometimes a guest speaker, and ends with breakout rooms where participants can talk about the topic in smaller groups.
