OISS ANNOUNCEMENTS

OISS Office Hours

Announcements from SEVIS Team

END OF TERM REMINDERS

• Last day to withdraw from classes: Saturday, March 16, 2024. Do not withdraw from any of your classes without permission from the SEVIS Coordinator.

• Last day to change grade option: Saturday, March 16, 2024

• Register for Spring 2024 term classes. All F-1 international students must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credits; 9 credits in-person for students in an Associate degree program; 12 credits in-person for students ESOL courses)

• Tuition payment deadline: Monday, March 18, 2024. Students who do not make a payment or sign up for a payment plan will be dropped from ALL classes.

• Spring 2024 Term begins: Monday, April 1, 2024

LATE DROPS/WITHDRAW

You can only drop a class until the drop deadline. After that, it’s called “withdrawing” and it has different consequences. Do not withdraw from a course without permission from the SEVIS Team. No refunds are available for withdrawn courses.

If you withdraw from a course that puts you at less than 12 credits or less than the required in-person courses, your SEVIS record will be terminated and your F-1 status canceled. In this case, you must depart the US immediately to avoid any negative consequences.

Instead, you might be able to change a course grade option from letter grades (A-F) to Pass/No Pass (P/NP). If you have questions about P/NP grades, make an appointment with your academic advisor in EAB Navigate. The deadline to make this change in MyPCC is Saturday, March 16, 2024.
