The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber supports the passage of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

Approval of USMCA will ensure that U.S. manufacturers, farmers, and service providers can continue to access the Canadian and Mexican markets. Trade with Canada and Mexico reached nearly $1.3 trillion in 2017, and the two countries bought more than one-third of all U.S. merchandise exports.

This agreement will preserve and strengthen the benefits of North American trade and is essential for the nation's business community. In Washington State alone, the total value of exports to Canada & Mexico exceeds $12B per year and supports 277,000 jobs.
