Smith College to host "Understanding Russia" conference
The  Understanding Russia: Perspectives on Politics and Culture conference will take place at Smith College February 15-17. Made possible through the generous support of Elizabeth Eveillard '69 Jean-Marie Eveillard, “Understanding Russia” will explore Russia’s politics and culture and seeks to foster balanced discussion of Russia's place in the global community.
Paris Gatherings Honor
Smith Alumnae
For many Smith students, the opportunities offered through study abroad are the deciding factor when choosing to attend the college. Unique cultural experiences, being immersed in a foreign language and forging lifelong friendships abroad are just a few of the motivating factors. To celebrate these special opportunities,  two gatherings were held this past summer in Paris to honor and connect with two beloved supporters of Smith’s study abroad programs, Anita Wien ’62 and Ann Sanford ’75.
Lewis Global Studies Center releases annual report
The Lewis Global Studies Center integrates, enriches and promotes opportunities for the critical study of global issues in order to advance the college's mission to prepare women for global citizenship and leadership. Together for Smith participation initiative kicks off
In honor of Rally Day, Smith recently launched Together for Smith, a community-wide participation initiative to increase engagement in college activities, events and philanthropy.

A month-long “Rally for Smith” challenge aims to secure 2,019 gifts to honor of the class of 2019. Members of the Board of Trustees have pledged a collective gift of $325,000 for student scholarship support if the participation goal is met by February 28. Click here to make a gift today!
