Internet Essentials Expands Eligibility to Even More Households

Comcast's Internet Essentials is an industry-leading broadband adoption program designed to connect more families to reliable, affordable Internet service.

Comcast is expanding eligibility for Internet Essentials to include any household earning at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. For example, a family of four earning less than $64,300 would now qualify. This expansion broadens the existing pathways customers can use to verify their eligibility and ensures more families can benefit from essential connectivity.

Since its launch in 2011, Internet Essentials has continued to evolve, adapting to the changing needs of the communities it serves and expanding its reach year over year.

The program will remain available at $14.95 per month, offering significant value, including:

  • Free WiFi equipment
  • Unlimited data
  • Access to more than 23 million Xfinity WiFi hotspots
  • Discounted laptops
  • Free digital skills training
