Sign Up for This Year's Vehicle Wash Program
Local nonprofit groups are invited to participate in our Vehicle Wash Program to help raise funds for their organization.

Groups will receive $300 for washing approximately 10 vehicles, including bucket trucks, service trucks, passenger cars, and SUVs.

The Vehicle Wash Program takes place the second Saturday of each month from March through September.
5 Tips for Reducing Energy Waste
  1. Turn your thermostat down a couple of degrees, especially when you are asleep or away.
  2. Close doors and windows to keep heat in, including interior doors to unheated basements and garages.
  3. Open blinds during the day to let in heat from the sun and close them at night.
  4. Seal air leaks around doors and windows.
  5. If you spend most of your time in one room, lower your central thermostat and use a portable heater for the area you use most.

Warming Tree Brings in Record Number of Donations
Thanks to generous donations from our customers, staff, and Board Members, we were able to collect 1,260 warming items this year.

These hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, coats, and other warming items were donated to Community Action Team to distribute to members of our community.

This is the fourth year we have had the Warming Tree. We eclipsed our previous record by nearly 400 items. Thank you for all of your generous donations and support to help members of our community in need this holiday season!
Board Makes Modifications to Grant Program
At their December meeting, the PUD Board of Directors made some adjustments to the Economic Development Program.

Grants will now be awarded twice a year rather than on an ongoing basis. The deadline for the first round of grant applications is February 28.

The qualifications have changed slightly. The grant is now available for projects that promote economic development and enhance livability in our community.

The amount has changed to $5,000 per grant. That allows us to award 10 full grants with our current budget.
