About Me
Hi Everyone,

My name is Kylie Kosko and the slobbering pup pictured with me is my best friend, Ovi. I am super excited to have accepted a position at Crossroads to serve and get to know the youth. As Erin is going back to college online, I will be taking over the communication and administrative side of all things student ministries, However don't worry Erin will still be around! I have grown up in Crossroads and have lived in Ashburn my whole life. I graduated from Stone Bridge High School back in 2017 and I am finishing up my junior year studying youth ministry at Messiah College. Throughout my high school and college years I have stayed connected with Crossroads student and children’s ministry. This summer I will be coordinating some fun connection events and coordinating intersect on Sunday mornings. For those of you that I have already met, I am excited to get to know you further and for those of you I don’t know, I will be looking forward to connecting with you in the near future. If you have any questions at this time, feel free to contact me at  [email protected]
Intersect at Home:

Dear Students and Families,

We so wish we could be gathering all together, eating some delicious breakfast treats, laughing, and sharing as a group! For now, this is the next best thing:  Church at Home- Intersect Edition . So put on your comfiest PJs, grab a warm beverage, and get cozy!

Every Sunday morning, we will be providing resources for students 6th-12th grade and their families. This will include an Intersect Printout with a mindfulness practice, scripture, reflection questions, prayer, and spiritual practice that you can do at home.

Click  here  for the link to this week's Intersect Printout, called Jesus is Our Friend.

One of our high school students, Jason Jones, created a delightful video guiding students through some joy-filled mindfulness practices.  Check it out!  Jason has created fantastic videos for Crossroads in the past too, including recap videos for Vacation Serve Camp and the Pittsburgh Project.

You are also invited to watch  Church at Home online at 10:00am this Sunday, and utilize the prayers, resources, and guidance for families of all ages on the page.

We know emotions can be confusing during this time- part excitement for a break from school, part loneliness not seeing friends everyday, and part fear of what the next days and weeks will bring.  We are here for you through it all! Please feel free to reach out.

Send an email to  [email protected]  if you want to connect with one of the Intersect Guides further.

Sending love, comfort, and peace,

The Student Ministries Team and Intersect Guides

Weekly Scripture Reflection: Romans 8:38-39 CEB

38  I’m convinced that nothing can separate us from God’s love in Christ Jesus our Lord: not death or life, not angels or rulers, not present things or future things, not powers  39  or height or depth, or any other thing that is created.
Weekly Reflection Questions:

When was a moment in your life where you felt that nothing could separate you from the love of God?

What do you think it means that we will not be separated from Christ's love through life or death, angels or rulers, and future or present things?

In what ways can you show Christ's love to others this week?
Fun Activity to Fight Cabin Fever!
Everyone is going to have a lot of random toilet paper rolls laying around during this period of social distancing. Here's a fun craft you can make with them if you get bored and want to channel your inner child!

Tips for Thriving in Online Classes:

  • Stay Organized-- know when and how you are meant to turn assignments in.
  • Utilize the mute button on video classes-- nothing is more distracting than background noise.
  • Ask Questions-- this is new territory for everyone, including your teachers. If you have a question chances are others have the same one.
  • Try to have an environment dedicated to working other than your bed to help with sleeping habits.
