Valhalla 46

We had perfect weather to photograph this Valhalla 46, with clear sun-drenched blue skies accentuating the beauty of her Shimmering Blue hull. The boat is outfitted with a sharp-looking, custom marlin tower and hardtop from the Viking subsidiary Palm Beach Towers, which features white powder-coated pipe. A trio of Cold Fusion White Mercury Verado 600s provides the power.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but few would dispute that Valhalla Boatworks builds the best-looking center console on the market. A proud bow, double strakes and chines and gently sloping S-shaped sheer are integral parts of the V Series’ aesthetic appeal.

With a beam of 13 feet, 4 inches, the V-46 has the deck space for a game-changing amount of seating that will have everyone sitting pretty. Starting at the bow, you have port and starboard forward seats with available teak backrests. A forward lounge integrated into the console features folding armrests and a comforting leg-elevating design. There’s also a two-person seat molded into the lounge’s forward section. Toekick at the gunwales and around the console maximizes deck space and safety. Note that the owner went with a white powder-coated recessed bow rail to match the tower and hardtop frame.

Clean, streamlined and well-thought-out, the helm is not only ergonomically friendly but offers unmatched visibility. Atlantic Marine Electronics, another Viking company, installed a custom Furuno package that includes a trio of 19-inch multifunction displays (MFD). Other highlights include a teak helm pod, a ProCurve solid glass enclosure, an integrated overhead electronics pod, and manual teaser reels recessed in the hardtop.

Two rows of Release Marine chairs with flip-up bolsters are elevated on a 7-inch-high teak platform, which maximizes visibility. The underside of the hardtop, which matches the hull color, includes recessed lighting and integrated pods for speakers and a cockpit-facing Furuno MFD.

Our marlin towers increase visual fishing and navigation capabilities while keeping the captain close to the crew for optimal communication in the cockpit. This V-46 is loaded with optional fishing accessories, including a Release Marine rocket launcher, dual 54-gallon live wells, refrigerated port and starboard fish boxes, on-deck live well fittings and countless rod holders. She also boasts premium upholstery, beautiful teak from bow to stern, and a whole lot more!
