Into the Woods is rated PG 9 – some mature content.

The first Improv evening of the season was a great success. The group meets on the first and third Mondays of the month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Join us for the next drop-in session on Monday, October 20, in the building to the east of the Theatre (the old Blue Canoe location). No experience necessary. Participants must be at least 18 years old and become members of Shuswap Theatre (only $10). Questions? Email Julia.

Play readings are back for the third year! Join us for the first one of the season on Wednesday, October 29 at the Theatre.

We will be reading our upcoming spring production The Book of Will by Lauren Gunderson. This play is an historical drama/comedy about the printing of Shakespeare’s first folio. Although it is set in 1623, it is not written in Elizabethan language. The play is written to be performed by 7 men and 3 women. Come and listen or take part in reading. Refreshments provided. For more information, contact Julia.

A great way to support Shuswap Theatre is to become a member and keep your membership current. A healthy membership roll is essential to show community support to funding bodies. All memberships (except Life Memberships) expire on September 30^th. Yearly membership prices are:

• $10 for an Individual
• $7 for a Student
• $25 for a Family
• $100 for an Individual Life Membership (expires when you do)
• $25 Business or non-profit organization – the owner or Executive Director holds the membership (non-voting) on behalf of the organization.
