A Note from the Camp Director

As summer winds down, I find myself reflecting with a full heart on all the incredible memories made here at Camp Kirkwood. From the laughter echoing across the lake to the quiet confidence growing in each camper, this season was something truly special.

To every camper who showed up with courage and curiosity, every family who trusted us, and every staff member, volunteer, and supporter who made it all possible—thank you. Your belief in the power of camp to shape lives is what keeps our mission strong.

While the summer may be ending, the spirit of Kirkwood is alive year-round. We’re already looking forward to more moments of joy, growth, and connection in the months to come. Check out some of my favorite moments from camp this year in the video below.
