This four-session, Thursday-evening course provides an overview of ArcGIS components with a focus on layout and core functionality. Instructors from Rutgers University and the NJ Office of GIS will give you a solid foundation in ArcGIS through hands-on exercises covering:

  • Basic Geoprocessing
  • Boolean Logic
  • Introduction to ArcCatalog
  • Setting Projections 
  • Spatial Queries
  • Table Joins and Thematic Maps 
Plus,  we'll give you FREE access to ArcGIS 10 software for an entire year so that you can practice your newly acquired skills at home or work!
