VICTOR SANCHEZ
TEACHING: Hip Hop Five/Six
We are so thrilled that Victor was able to jump in to teach Hip Hop Five/Six several weeks ago. We hope your dancers have been enjoying his class! Here's a little bit more about Victor...
Victor Sanchez is a Senior at the University of Washington majoring in Dance and Anthropology. Victor was born and raised in Federal Way, Washington where he started dancing at the age of 16 when he joined his high school dance team. There he curated his love for dance and continued on to choreograph award winning choreography for competitive dance teams as well as teaching and coaching dancers throughout his local communities. Victor draws inspiration from various movement styles ranging from various different diasporas. Pushing for inclusion and diversity, Victor aims to help dismantle the systems within academia and dance that have limited the exposure of art from the BIPOC community.
