DrivenAdvantage is the procurement arm of Driven Brands, working to source goods and services that provide solutions to your everyday business needs. Your engagement and participation is important in making these programs successful and that is why this robust team is here, to help you along the way. The team is made up of about 20 individuals ranging from recent consultants to long-tenured Driven Brands employees. We are proud to leverage the Driven Brands scale to negotiate deals on your behalf, delivering the best value to our Driven Brands family of companies.

How DrivenAdvantage Can Support YOU!
  • Current deals to take advantage of: We have deals ranging from parts to uniforms to office supplies. Several are specific to your brand, so visit your brand's learning management system to see what's available to you.
  • What deals are next: We work with each brand to understand the business needs and then based on impact, risk and complexity we strategically source the next good or service.
  • Coming down the pipeline now are equipment deals, shop supplies packages, R&M parts rebates, and more!
  • How to purchase products: We are working on providing an e-commerce marketplace that will launch later this year where you will be able to shop for all your needs in one place.

Meet the DrivenAdvantage team!
Phil Hoblet
Vice President of Category Management

Phil leverages more than six years of management consulting experience to direct a team of procurement and sales professionals. Phil has overseen the team since 2020 and is responsible for increasing profitability for the Driven Brands family of companies. 

Fun Fact, Phil was a helicopter pilot for ten years in the Navy.
Blake Kidwell
Vice President of Sales

Blake joined the Driven Brands family over 12 years ago with 1-800 Radiator. Through his long tenure, he has driven incredible sales to the brands he has supported through his expertise in account management, strategic planning, and KPI analysis. Now, Blake is focused on driving value for the Driven Brands family of companies through strategic vendor partnerships.

In his free time, Blake and his wife are busy mentoring the foster youth through their church community as well as spending time with their five-year-old son, Isaiah.
Becca Fries
Merchandising Director

A part of the Driven Brands family for nine years, Becca has a deep understanding of how to drive profitability for varying brands. Her holistic approach to creating new programs partnered with her positive customer experience is what drives the seamless implementation of accretive initiatives.

In her free time, Becca likes to visit the Appalachian mountains, enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as keeping up with her one-year-old son.
Jake McKinney
Strategic Growth Manager

For five years, Jake was a consulting engagement manager at Ernst & Young’s supply chain consulting division. Here, he conducted consulting work for some of the country's top companies including the Ford Motor Company, Coca-Cola, Chick-fil-A, Duke Energy, US Steel, Anheuser Busch, and Johnson Controls. In his role with Driven Brands, Jake leverages his experience to enhance the value DrivenAdvantage provides. This includes procurement cost reduction, internal procurement audits, contract management process, IT implementation, and much more.

Fun fact, Jake owns a 1971 Buick Skylark convertible that has been passed down through his family.
Nick Alessandro
Director, Category Operations

Nick joined Driven Brands in 2018, After spending three years with one of North America's largest tire distributors leading its supply chain transformation. Highly analytical and data-driven, Nick has vast purchasing experience including supply planning, inventory management, data governance, process improvement, vendor relationship management, and much more.

Nick tied the knot in February and spent his honeymoon in Hawaii!
Brittney Cox Shaw
Category Director, Exterior

Brittney has been with the Driven Brands family for seven years, supporting the fast-growing procurement needs of varying business segments. Brittney develops cost-saving programs for franchisees with a focus on paint, associated products, and parts. Her focus is to manage supplier relationships to ensure best-in-class service and support for our growing family of brands.

Brittney welcomed a baby girl to her family, Maeve, in September!
Andrew Young
Sales Associate

Andrew is new to the Driven Brands family. He joins us after living his dream of playing basketball in Europe. Since his injuries introduced him to living off the court, he has settled in Sacramento, California. Andrew reports to Blake Kidwell and is responsible for communicating programs to franchisees and ensuring they drive value for our network, to ultimately make them more profitable. 

Fun fact, Andrew is 6'8 (same height as LeBron) and still plays pickup basketball in the community.
