The Catholic Church of the Transfiguration, 2023

A new way...

Over the last two years, the Team in the Parish Office and The Faith Formation Staff have been making incremental changes to our systems with an important goal in mind. That goal is to live up to the promise we made as a Catholic Church to reduce our environmental impact, live more simply, and share the gifts entrusted to us as responsibly as we can. To love this beautiful place by protecting its people, ecosystems and resources is to love our community as a complex and everchanging one. The updates to the building that we call Transfiguration are only one of the many levels of change required to care for our common church home as well as security and procedures. Updates and new ideas surrounding our ministry and groups are happening. There are also updates and changes in the way we engage with news and information around the parish.

With all of that in mind, we want to welcome a step that combines

all these steps together. This will come in the form of a new program, ParishSoft’s My Own Church (MOC) which lets parishioners view their own contribution statements online rather than sending a mailed copy to each household. MOC will allow the parish to reach its goal of reducing our environmental and economic impact by reducing the waste of paper postage.  By our calculations, the parish spends over $3 per contribution statement when it is mailed USPS, totaling more than $10,000 in paper, postage, and time. This cost saving greatly impacts the work that our church can do.

Log-In Information being sent in January!

Each parish household will be enrolled in this program with it’s own unique log-in information. You household will receive this information via email. We encourage all members and households to update email addresses to ensure secure delivery of this important information. Each unique log-in will be assigned based on the primary email of your household. Being enrolled in this program allows you to view and respond to the accuracy of the report and notify us of any changes.

We welcome you to join us in these steps toward a more secure, healthy and prosperous parish. We celebrate you and all of the progress you have made along side of us. We look forward to serving you in new and helpful ways. And, as always, we’re happy to grow along side you in faith and love.
