The Jarmak Corporation and Antique Lumber Co. are proud to offer some of the finest and most prized reclaimed Adirondack Red Spruce recovered from aging industrial buildings in New York City. We have saved thousands of feet of these original antique face 3x8, 3x10, and 3x12 timbers that have spent the last 125 years of their life as structural joists: overseeing the rise and fall of America's industrial era in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan and surrounding urban areas.

Maturing for some 300-500 years, the lightweight and incredibly strong red spruce timbers originally grew in the nearby Adirondack Mountains, and we're mostly harvested around the turn of the last century for use in NYC building construction. Adirondack Red Spruce is also an excellent tone wood, and is used by many higher-end acoustic guitar and violin manufacturers. We offer this material in a variety of thicknesses and widths to suit all your building needs.

Reclaimed Adirondack Red Spruce is so versatile- it brings warmth, character, and style to your walls, floors, or ceilings. Call us today to order samples!

In case you missed us in last week's Sunday Globe...

Over 25 years ago, owner Arnie Jarmak put down his camera and went to work with the Amish rebuilding barns in Pennsylvania. Fast forward to today, and Arnie is still working to rebuild his community, but this time the focus is on the precious reclaimed wood that keeps his wheels spinning. In the Boston area notably, we have been making a splash with our locally harvested, reclaimed Boston Harbor Oak. With a growing demand for sustainable healthy building products on the rise, more designers are turning to premium reclaimed wood products from the Jarmak Corporation.

Boston Harbor Oak Makes a Splash
Many of you in the Boston area are familiar with the Lovejoy Wharf Restoration. For years, this prime piece of real estate on the water across from TD Bank Garden has been abandoned and neglected. The original buildings on the wharf were erected around 1907, and occupied first by the Submarine Signal Company, and lastly by the Massachusetts DMV. The area has been slated for redevelopment, and the Jarmak Corporation, with the help of local contractors have been hard at work cleaning and clearing the site of debris and saving the valuable oak pilings from the icy waters of Boston Harbor.
How can you save the planet?.
