Hi from Serendipity Quilt Shop

Feels like deja vu: hope you are all safe and sewing.

Don't forget that I am donating $5 to the DE food bank for every $50 in gift cards purchased before Mother's Day. You still have time to order online for print at home.

I cannot thank you all enough for how much you have been supporting the shop. You are keeping Bonnie hopping- which is keeping me hopping and the rest of the staff all hoping to be back to work sooner rather than later. I have no crystal ball on that but again, it won't be soon and it won't be the same for awhile. We will just keep doing what works until then. We have been having some fun on our Facebook group-Serendipity Stir Crazy Sewing Chicks. Lots of fun show and tell and stories being shared. Almost 300 members!

And our Quilt Along with Linda Grigsby is ready to begin!

STARS OVER SERENDIPITY is what we are calling it! The pattern is composed of all public domain stars which have been altered a little for our quilt. It is specifically created for advanced beginners and up, so just about everyone can do the blocks. It can be a stash buster, scrap quilt, planned quilt, really whatever you want it to be. You will see by the directions that Linda used the Tula Pink Homemade line. Lenny has tested it and used her batik stash. Anything goes.
One block will be revealed on Mondays and Thursdays on our website www.serendipityquiltshop.com.
starting this Thursday May 7th. Towards the end we will give you some ideas for setting blocks etc. Let's have some fun together- A little break from all of your amazing mask making.

If you haven't looked at the website lately, please do! We continue to add beautiful fabrics for you. If there is something you don't see, just call the shop or email us at Kathy@serendipityquiltshop.com and ask if we have it. We will ship for a $5 flat rate or you can do our "porch pick up".

Here is something exciting! I have ordered the new Tula Pink True Colors group which should arrive in July, and this week I am ordering some Christmas fabric! I had cancelled all of my orders when the shop closed but now I feel like I can order some things again- besides 1/4" elastic! (which should arrive this week).

Enjoy the flowers that have finally arrived and get outside for a walk or a bike ride every day and of course- Keep sewing.
Hope to see you soon. Kathy
