An Advent Resource from

Dear Alongside Hope supporter,

What does it mean to walk alongside God when the ground beneath us feels unsteady and our communities feel fractured?

This Advent season, Brittan Hudson explores this tension in Alongside God: Active Waiting in Times of Uncertainty and Difference. “Active waiting” is a holy, gritty posture of expectation that engages with uncertainty and difference, to become the ground for change. Through daily scripture readings, reflection and prayer, readers can take an Advent journey with Brittan.

Join us Thursday, November 12 at 1 p.m. ET to learn more about the resource and what inspired Brittan as they were writing this resource.

Brittan Hudson holds a Master of Theological Studies in Development from the University of Toronto and was a member of the Dismantling Racism Task Force representing Black Anglicans of Canada at General Synod in 2023.

Subscribe here to receive daily Advent readings and reflections
in your inbox starting November 29.
