Introducing Art Bites

BiTeS + PiECeS | JULY 2023

Greetings,

What started as a simple space harboring potential - a garden room - became transformed into a room that could hold art + objects in a way that reflected our vision of living a life with art. The Garden Room became a concept - Art Bites - and the idea was to bring together the work of artists we know and love, compliment their work with objects of interest, bring the garden inside (as well as out) and combine this into an inaugural exhibition - Rhapsody Butternut.

Art Bites is presented in the manner of a pop-up where temporary exhibits in the Garden Room and other sites in the area, will bring together art + community in an intimate and personal setting. Small, quality experiences - that's what we hope to offer.

Art Bites will also introduce programming that reflects the work of the Habitat for Artists project in artist residences on and off site.

With Bites + Pieces, we share with you news of what we hope to do through Art Bites. We're excited over the possibilities and we hope you will be too.

Art Bites Artists-in-Residence

Art Bites is pleased to present two artist residencies this summer with artists Lisa Breznak and Chere Krakovsky. Each artist invites you to participate in their process during their two-day residencies. Come for as little or as long as you wish. How much? How little? The space to create.

The residencies will be presented at two locations - Hortus Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, 76 Mill Road, Stone Ridge, NY and at the Garden Room, behind The Last Bite Cafe & Market, 103 Main St/Route 213, High Falls, NY.
