Beginning Watercolor Woodblock Online Course
Start non-toxic printing in this live weekend course
In Beginning Watercolor Woodblock, you’ll learn the art and craft of Japanese woodblock printmaking one weekend. You’ll grasp the fundamentals using minimal supplies and simple steps without buying specialty printmaking inks or getting caught up in the intricate steps.

For years I struggled to learn Japanese woodblock printing. I made all sorts of mistakes, like buying the wrong supplies. And I couldn’t wrap my head around how materials work together while printing. It was frustrating because I was eager to learn this gorgeous elemental process.

This course is for people new to relief printing or who want to graduate from linocut to a process with more nuance and challenge.

All you need to do is Enroll for Class and have your materials on hand. Watch the daily on-demand demonstrations and spend around six hours on assignments.

On days two and three, there will be two live feedback sessions where I’ll discuss submitted photos of process works. You can watch the recording if you can’t make the feedback session.
