Big Insights is an online space where Bigs can ask questions of experienced BBBSCC Bigs, get trusted answers from BBBSCC staff, and discover fresh ideas to strengthen their match. It’s like having a mentoring coach at your fingertips.

BBBSCC Match Support Leader:

Maria Dozier, Director of Community-Based Programs at BBBSCC, has been with the organization for 13 years. Her knowledge hub will provide mentors with practical solutions and guidance on common challenges, drawing on her experience as a seasoned professional. 

For questions answered by experienced Bigs:

Adam Derbidge has been matched with his Little Brother Fredrick for over seven years! Adam is also a member of the BBBSCC Board of Directors.

Chidi Okonya has been matched with his Little Brother Nysai for just over a year. Chidi brings valuable insight into successfully navigating the early stages of a match relationship.

Kim Towery, BBBSCC’s 2025 Big Sister of the Year, has been matched with her Little Sister Sophia for over six years! Kim is also a member of the BBBSCC Cabarrus Leadership Council.
