This course will cover a variety of important components the Dentist needs to take into account to optimize patient esthetics in Implant Dentistry. Dr. Arlin has placed 14,000 implants with follow-ups of up to 27 years. He has worked with a variety of Dentists utilizing the “Team Approach”. Dr. Arlin will cover evidence based concepts and show many cases with short and long-term results.

Speaker Bio:
Dr. Arlin received his D.D.S. from McGill University in 1977. After a 1 year Residency in General Dentistry at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, he began his Post Graduate Program in Periodontics at the University of Toronto, graduating with his diploma in 1980. Dr. Arlin received his Membership and Fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 1981 and 1983 respectively. He has taught at the Undergraduate and Periodontal Post Graduate departments at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Arlin received his training in Implant Dentistry initially in 1985 and since then has been actively involved in continuing education. He has placed and documented over 14,000 implants to date. He has lectured internationally and has authored many articles on Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.
He was the co-founder of the Toronto Implant Study Club, which was the largest private Implant Study Club in Canada. As well he was the sole founder of the Dental Hygienist Periodontal Study Club of Toronto. Dr. Arlin is the past president of the Ontario Society of Periodontists and past president of the Ontario Society for Osseointegration. In 1995 he was elected to be the national chairman of the Canadian Academy of Periodontology’s full day program on comprehensive Periodontics.
Dr. Arlin carries on a private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, in Toronto.
