Introducing Generation Schools Network's Bold New Brand!

Generation Schools Network is thrilled to introduce our revitalized brand identity, including a new logo, vision and mission statement!

Our logo evolution

Since inception in 2004, our organization has been dedicated to helping every child succeed in school, work, and life. As our team and work has grown and evolved to include additional school supports to help drive educational equity, so has our relationship with the schools and communities in which we work and serve. Crafting a revamped look over the past year was a collaborative experience for the entire GSN staff guided by marketing and communications guru Nathan Jenks. Jenks led our team through various brainstorming, reflection and collaboration exercises with our stakeholders to capture the essence of who we are and where we are heading as an organization. Jenks's concepts were then brought to life by graphic designer, Victoria Sarkisian.

Our new vision

We understand that no two schools we work  alongside are the same, and with
that in mind our updated vision statement started to take shape. A school is more than just a building; it is a living ecosystem comprised of teachers, students, staff, and families. As an organization, we have been given the opportunity to enter these ecosystems not to change them but to co-create innovative strategies and help them flourish by supporting each stakeholder in fulfilling their unique role.

Our new mission

GSN began when we creatively re-deployed the existing resources of a typical public school and radically transformed the outcomes. We continue to bring that spirit of innovation to every challenge we assist schools in solving. As we look towards the future, our updated mission will guide us as collaborators in helping school ecosystems grow and thrive by serving the whole student. GSN's unique integrated solutions, developed from our extensive experience, help schools and their stakeholders realize tangible, long-term improvements in the areas that have the greatest need.

Our new logo

Graphic designer Victoria Sarkisian took our revamped brand personality and created our new logo, which features Generation Schools Network in a deep rich blue, with a bright sunburst emanating from the G in Generation. Sarkisian selected the blue to represent trustworthiness, reliability and support. She selected a bright yellow for the sunburst to complement the blue, incorporating feelings of optimism and innovation. The burst of sun itself radiates energy, light, achievement, happiness, and our holistic work to serve the whole child. This reinforces GSN's commitment to embrace the inherent promise for every school and student to succeed, particularly when the challenges seem the most insurmountable.

Our new logo personifies the outlook we take as we come alongside schools, one of being engaged, empathetic and enduring. Our new tagline embodies our approach to help schools and their stakeholders realize tangible, long-term improvements in the areas that have the greatest need. GSN recognizes that a student's education experience isn't confined to a classroom or solely comprised of grades, rather it is formed by teachers, administrators, policymakers, the community, family members, and a compilation of learning experiences both in and outside of school. We reimagine new strategies to make our schools and communities stronger and elevate the potential for all students to flourish in college, career and life.

We are so excited to share our bold new brand with you. Watch for more changes coming soon!

Special Thanks!
