The Board of Directors of the Idaho Community Health Center Association (ICHCA) is pleased to announce the selection of Kyle Rooks as its new Chief Executive Officer.
The ICHCA Board of Directors - comprised of chief executives from 15 Idaho's Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) - has selected Kyle to lead the association into its next chapter.
Kyle has been a valued member of the ICHCA team since 2020, serving as Government Affairs Director. In this role, he significantly elevated the visibility of Idaho's FQHCs at the state and local levels, building relationships with state agencies, lawmakers and stakeholders. His work produced meaningful policy reforms that strengthened ICHCA's member health centers and the communities they serve.
Kyle's professional background is firmly rooted in the FQHC world. Prior to joining ICHCA, he spent eight years - from 2012 to 2020 - with Terry Reilly Health Services, an FQHC serving the Treasure Valley. This experience gave him a deep, firsthand understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing health centers and the patients they serve across the state.
As CEO, Kyle looks forward to expanding the visibility of FQHCs, both nationally and statewide, and ensuring that ICHCA member health centers have a strong, unified statewide voice.
He is committed to working alongside members, partners, and stakeholders to advance a shared mission: delivering high-quality patient outcomes for Idaho's communities at minimal cost to patients and the broader health system.
