Introducing Jo-Ann Belmonte
The New Proprietor of the Sea Meadow Inn
Let me introduce myself...
Hello everyone! I feel now to be the appropriate time to finally share that the Sea Meadow Inn changed hands back in May of this year. I am the new Proprietor and I am very excited about my new venture!

My Innkeeping experience began with “Block Islands Inns” on Block Island, Rhode Island. I had the opportunity to work with Ann Law, the proprietor of The Avonlea; The Blue Dory; and the Waverly Suites, totaling twenty-seven guest rooms.

Prior to my Innkeeping role on Block Island, I spent over twenty years working as a “Director of Finance” with organizations such as Omni, Starwood, and Hilton Hotels; and several private country clubs. The country club most notable was the Balboa Bay Club and Resort in Newport Beach, California where John Wayne was once a member.

What brought me to my decision to purchase my own Inn was my mother, who turned 101 years old this past July. My sister and I are co-caregivers, which allows me the time to work at my Inn as much as is needed. Mom is still a powerful force in my life. She visited the Inn this past June and some of you have met her and were able to spend time listening to her stories that she loves to share. Hopefully she will be back again next year!!
The future of the Sea Meadow Inn
As a new owner I have been able to gather many ideas from our guests and am very excited as I work towards building the Sea Meadow Inn as your home away from home!

I will build it into a desirable destination Inn that will keep you coming back. The personality of the Inn becomes that of the Owner/Innkeeper; therefore, you will always feel welcomed here and it will always be my motto to have you “make yourself at home”!
See what people are saying!
My wife and I had a really nice time during our stay. The room was very nice, and quite large. Bathroom was newly renovated and very clean. Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast both mornings. Jo-Ann and Elsie were great hosts- very helpful and friendly.
Would definitely stay there again when we travel to Brewster, and would recommend Sea Meadow to anyone visiting Brewster and the surrounding area." -Ed S.

Great Cape Cod Escape
"The Sea Meadow Inn is a great choice if you are thinking of going to the cape. Joanne, Elcye, and the crew are warm, friendly, and very helpful. The Inn itself is beautiful and in wonderful condition. The rooms are very clean and well appointed, the bathrooms are wonderful and spacious, the breakfasts each morning are delicious." - Greg M

"My new favorite place to stay on the Cape is the Sea Meadow Inn. Every detail was addressed from charming, clean, fresh rooms, to delicious breakfast and gorgeous landscaping. This charming historical home has all modern conveniences and near everything. I cant wait to go back!" -Denise

We stayed at the Sea Meadow Inn for two nights while in town to attend a wedding. We could not have been more impressed with the property. We were welcomed and felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. The afternoon snacks were lovely, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the outdoor shower was a special treat. Our room was spotless and included very soft bedding and luxury bath products. We hope to return very soon!" - Ally S

We had an incredible stay at the Sea Meadow Inn in Brewster! Jo-Ann is a wonderful host - she truly went above and beyond to welcome us to her inn. We stayed in the 'Phoebe' room on the first floor. It was beautifully decorated, spotless, and extremely comfortable. In the morning we had an amazing breakfast thanks to Jo-Ann and Elsie - the homemade blueberry muffins were a must have! We can't wait to be back on the Cape to stay at the Sea Meadow Inn again!" - Melissa M
