We are excited to announce that our U13-U19 Boys & Girls NPL teams will now participate in the newly formed National 1 League (N1)
Formerly the National Premier League (NPL), this is a collaborative, team-based competition platform created in partnership with US Club Soccer (NPL) and US Youth Soccer (National League).
Launching in the 2026–27 season, N1 will unify the former NPL and National League into a more aligned structure that enhances competition, reduces travel demands, and provides a clearer national pathway for clubs and players.
As an example, a Team with the former name of 2009 Boys NPL Elite, will now be called U17 Boys N1 Elite.
This new league represents a major step forward in youth soccer, bringing together two leading platforms to better serve players and families across the country.
In Florida, the Florida Club League will operate the National 1 League Southeast District 2.
The inaugural season will culminate in summer 2027 with the ECNL Conference League Playoffs, featuring top-performing N1 teams alongside select ECNL Regional League (ECNL RL) teams. This evolution will reshape the current NPL landscape and create a more competitive and efficient environment.
At Sporting Jax, we are proud to offer three high-level state league pathways for our players:
- ECNL (Elite Clubs National League) – Top level
- ECNL RL (Elite Clubs Regional League) – Second level
- N1 League (National 1 League) – Third and fourth level teams
Additionally, players seeking a more local option can compete in the North Florida Premier League (NFPL).
Our mission remains the same: to provide every player with the opportunity to compete at the highest level possible while also offering clear pathways for development and postseason play.
