Ruchita wanted to pick a profession that allowed her to give back and serve others. She opted for physical therapy. Ruchita has been practicing PT for over 14 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in India and practiced in the inpatient, home-care and outpatient setting. She decided to pursue a master’s degree, which brought her to Boston. She completed her master’s degree in Orthopedic PT from the Institute of Health professions affiliated to the Harvard Medical School.

She then worked in the outpatient PT department at MGH, followed by at the PACE program for the elderly. She is currently working as an outpatient PT at Winchester hospital. She also enjoys teaching and is a visiting lab instructor for PT students at a PT school in Boston.

Her interests are Orthopedics, Geriatrics, Ergonomics, and Sports PT among others. She enjoys working with people across all ages and from different walks of life.
