Ray-Pec Community,

One of our commitments to you is timely, relevant, and informative communication. When the Board of Education updated the Strategic Plan last spring, one of the strategies we identified to help the school district move Forward and Better was to enhance our communication effectiveness. Our district-wide communication tools currently include RP Update, School News, a YouTube channel, Staff Spotlight, Textcaster, a brand new website, a mobile app, social media on Facebook and Twitter, and the bi-monthly Message From Mike. We know many of you like and rely on these tools to stay connected with the School District.

Today, we are launching our next tool for communication. We proudly introduce a podcast called Ray-Pec Connect. As we continue to look for ways to provide you with information, one method recently suggested is a podcast. One great advantage of a podcast is that you can listen on the go! For those who like to get more in-depth information while on the go, Ray-Pec Connect may just be the tool you are looking for.

Our first topic on Ray-Pec Connect is a discussion of our teacher and staff collaboration days. In this episode, Creekmoor Elementary School Principal Ashley Tegenkamp, 4th-grade Teacher Crystal Hawley, and 7th grade science Teacher Joanna Clark join me for a conversation about the why, what, and how of these very important days. Listen to Episode 1

I hope you find the podcast informative and helpful. We will announce through our social media channels when other Ray-Pec Connect episodes are available. We look forward to serving you in this way.

You can find Ray-Pec Connect on the Ray-Pec website and on a variety of platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and PodBean.

Thank you for entrusting your children to the Ray-Pec School District.
