Please share this with family and friends in the uterine cancer community!
Greetings!

As a national nonprofit, SHARE has been supporting, educating, and empowering women affected by breast and ovarian cancer for over 43 years. We are excited to be adding uterine cancer to SHARE's efforts! The program includes a Helpline, support groups, patient education, and community outreach for those facing endometrial cancer or uterine sarcoma. We look forward to staying in touch with you through our future quarterly updates.

As the team leading SHARE’s uterine cancer efforts, we wanted to introduce ourselves:
"During my many years at women’s cancer nonprofits, I had the opportunity to collaborate and work with SHARE, and I’m very excited to have now joined the SHARE staff as the uterine program coordinator. This new program will provide support and information for women impacted by uterine cancer and enhance the wonderful services that SHARE already provides."

-Kitty Silverman
"In 2018 I was introduced to SHARE and attended the ovarian cancer support group for newly diagnosed women; I walked away from that meeting feeling full of hope. As a nurse and two time uterine cancer survivor, I am passionate and dedicated in my mission to help build a strong support system for women affected by this disease."

-Nefa-Tari Moore
Warmly,

Kitty Silverman, Uterine Cancer Program Coordinator
Nefa-Tari Moore, Uterine Cancer Program Associate and Helpline Coordinator
Support groups are a low-pressure, empowering opportunity to exchange experiences, information, and care with women who understand what you're going through-to hear and be heard. Research shows that women with a strong community of support have better health outcomes. Our support groups are led by trained facilitators who are uterine cancer survivors.

Living with Mortality and Finding Meaning
Webinar
Tuesday, June 9, 6-7:30pm ET

Being confronted by our own mortality can bring up a lot of feelings: fear, anger, sadness, helplessness, and few experiences bring us face to face with our own death like a cancer diagnosis. But facing mortality can also be an opportunity to find meaning, live in the moment, and contemplate the mark you want to leave on this world. Attend this program to explore how to acknowledge the inevitable while still allowing yourself to truly live a full life and experience hope. In collaboration with NYU Langone Health.
Whether you have a uterine sarcoma or endometrial cancer diagnosis, or you're a friend, family member or caregiver of someone who does, SHARE is always here for you with our Uterine Cancer Helpline. We're here to lend support, give information, share experiences, and to lift you up every time you need it.
