Your Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is excited to be launching a new game that will encourage our community to shop and support local businesses and organizations!
Shop-Opoly, similar to the original Monopoly game, requires that players collect property cards in hopes of winning. What makes Shop-Opoly different is that players must complete a variety of tasks, including making purchases, visiting businesses and organizations, checking in on social media, making donations, and more, LOCALLY, in order to collect the property cards which will ultimately payout at least $2,500 in real, cold, hard Cash Prizes!
Our Shop-Opoly Team has been working hard for several months to make sure that everything was in order before rolling it out to you! You can view the bones of the game board below... it will be filled up as sponsorships begin to come in, of course, but the board below will at least let you see our vision! Game boards will be 11" x 17" in size, in full color, filled with Investor logos, and FREE to all players. The game board will also include Community Chest and Chance - these are community service spots. Players must donate to the local food pantry or purchase gift cards to local restaurants which will be given to the St. Francois County Ambulance District or 911 in order to secure those playing cards.
Our goal is to launch the game to our community on March 1, 2021, with a game-ending date of April 30, 2021. In order to do that, we must start selling sponsorships immediately!
In order to make this game successful, we need your participation! There are a variety of ways to participate, all outlined below, but ultimately, your sponsorship could yield big rewards for your business or organization! Here's a list of what we need:

Grand Prize Sponsors help ensure there's a drive for contestants to win while getting their business recognized in a big way!
Players will collect property blocks, corner blocks, and/or complete the Community Chest or Chance requirements in order to qualify to be entered to win the Grand Prize Cash Payout!
Your logo goes in the center of EVERY Game Board below the Shop-Opoly logo, on the bottom of EVERY Property Card, and on ALL Marketing Materials. These Sponsors are THE Shop-Opoly Game Sponsors.
We need a minimum of 3 Sponsors, however, if we can secure 6, we will increase our Grand Prize Payout!
A Grand Prize Sponsorship is $350 for Chamber Investors or $700 for Non-Investors.

Property Block Sponsors - $125
40 Properties For Sale!

Ultimately, the game is about the property blocks. Contestants will collect the property cards for multiple chances to win cash prizes.
As a property holder, contestants must visit your business or organization and complete whichever rule you specify in order to collect their property card. Retail and service businesses can require that a player purchase something or request a quote or information about a service offered. Non-profit organizations can require that players simply visit their organization to collect their card or maybe drop-off a needed donation for their organization. Use the game to increase your social media traffic; require that players stop by your business or organization, check-in or post about you, and then show you their social media interaction in order to claim their property card. The possibilities are endless!
There will be 4 properties included in a block. Players must collect all 4 properties within a block in order to qualify for that block's $100 prize. There will be a total of TEN $100 prizes given away at the conclusion of the game.
Your business or organization logo will be printed on the game board with the requirement needed to collect a property card. We will also provide you with custom property cards (which will look similar to the one to the left; with your logo instead, of course) to distribute to players once they have completed the requirement. We will also provide you with an oversized property card to display in your business/organization, telling your customers that you are part of the Shop-Opoly game.
In order to complete the board, we need to sell 40 Property Sponsorships. Each Property Sponsorship is $125 each for Chamber Investors or $225 each for Non-Investors.

Corner Sponsors - $250
4 Corner Sponsorships For Sale
|
Corner Sponsorships are unique in several ways!
First, and most obvious, there are only 4 of these sponsorships.
Second, these sponsorships are reserved for NON-RETAIL businesses and organizations.
Third, players will be asked to do something specific at each of these locations. For example, they could be asked to register for a giveaway of your choice (collecting contact information to be used for future sales). Players could be asked to simply stop in a pick up a brochure, or request a quote. These sites are reserved to give non-retail Investors a unique way to participate.
Finally, players completing all four corners will qualify to be entered in a drawing for a separate, $500 cash drawing called a Top Hat Drawing! A drawing that is ONLY open to those who complete the 4-corners! A special incentive!!!
