Since we first introduced SubHub at our Fall 2022 FAC Meeting, our IT team has invested hundreds of hours in development and testing to get it ready. That day has come – this helpful new feature of the MMC Online Portal is now live and available to you.
So What Exactly Is SubHub?
SubHub is a new tab you'll see on the line-level view of all contracted medical/surgical products on the MMC Portal. Behind the new "SubHub Options" tab are listings of comparable products that have been pulled from a variety of sources within our extensive database. They may be from RFP submissions, Spend Analytics reviews, or suggestions by Members or vendors.
These new listings provide a head start for you and your team to find information about similar products on the market. More than 120,000 items have been designated as SubHub Options for thousands of contracted products – and that number will continue to grow.
What SubHub Options Are Not.
- They are not part of MitigAID. But, like all products listed on the Portal, you will see the SubHub Options tab on products in the MitigAID section.
- They are not identified and reviewed by MMC's Clinical Team. In the event of a supply disruption, you'll continue to find potential substitutes listed in the "Alternate Items" tab in the MitigAID section of the Portal.
