Welcome to C&E's Robotics No-Brainer newsletter, where each week we present a robotics application that has revolutionized industry and could do the same for your business. Why wouldn't you use it?

It's a No-Brainer!
GRIPPER EVOLTUION
It has been roughly 50 years since the first readily controllable gripper was created. The Stanford arm utilized two straight-bar fingers with linear motion that slid together to grip and release objects. Since, grippers have continued their evolution from three-finger graspers to robotic hands with flexible joints, contactless grippers that use suction and flexible cups. Now, the next generation of gripper technology has arrived and is revolutionizing automation processes across numerous industries.
Soft Grippers from OnRobot are versatile grippers, capable of handling a wide array of irregular shapes and delicate objects in food and beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and packaging. Their unique design and soft grip allows them to handle the most delicate products without causing blemishes, and they are versatile enough to use on multiple applications.
Thank you for joining us for this week's edition of the Robotics No-Brainer. We'll be back next week at the same time for another exciting look at a revolutionary application from the world of cobots and AMRs.
