Travis Milton of Milton's at the Western Front
The
first Star City Supper Club will take place at The River and Rail, featuring guest chef Travis Milton of Milton’s in Saint Paul, VA.

A Southwest Virginia native, Chef Travis learned the traditions of true Appalachian cooking at a very early age and worked in some of the top kitchens in the country before pursuing his dream of opening a true Appalachian restaurant with a reverence for Southern heritage. Chefs Travis and Aaron will collaborate on an Appalachian-inspired menu, showcasing both the humble beginnings and the modern glory of the cuisine.

The evening will commence with a cocktail/hors d oeuvres reception from 5:30pm-6:30pm, featuring specialty drinks made with the finest seasonal ingredients by The River and Rail’s bar manager, Shane Lumpp. The four-course dinner begins with rustic, family-style dishes created with old-school techniques and ends with modern, plated dishes in creative iterations. Each course will be paired with a wine from Charlottesville’s Blenheim Vineyards Winery.

Tickets can be purchased for $150 per person, which includes all evening service and gratuity. The ticket price includes dinner, wine pairings, complimentary hors d oeuvres and Blenheim Rosé during the cocktail reception. Specialty cocktails will be available for $10 each.
