We are excited to share a new tool in your ISTS Portal-TheDream.US Request Form -that will make it easier for you to request a break in enrollment or an exception to our Scholarship guidelines found in your Program Guide.
Types of requests you can make:
You need a break in enrollment – if you took or need to take a term off or you need more than two terms off
You want to transfer to another PC including those that require permission (list can be found in the Program Guide, page 14)
Your Scholarship renewal was denied because
Your GPA was under 2.0 for more than one year*
You have maxed out on allowed time to complete your degree*
You have maxed out on your scholarship funds*
You did not complete the renewal form by the deadline
Your scholarship was withdrawn
* Note: These exceptions require you to provide a copy of a degree audit showing the number of classes completed and classes/terms still needed to complete your degree and/or your most recent transcript.
Where to find TheDream.US Request Form?
When you log into your ISTS Scholar Portal, you will see an orange button located on the top right-hand side of the page labeled “TheDream.US Request Form.”
Click on this button to access the form and begin your request. You can only have one open Request at a time.
How will it work?
Once we have reviewed the Request, you will be notified by email of our decision in 2-3 weeks.
Not all appeals will be granted, and our decision is final.
