Aspire Presents 2021 Program Line-Up

Happy New Year! We are pleased to announce an exciting schedule of 2021 programs. Aspire will continue to prioritize virtual program delivery for the start of 2021 (and have a few tricks up our sleeves to help break Zoom fatigue!). But we are hedging our bets things will improve this year. A couple dates we think you will want to circle on your calendars:

  • October 7: Municipal Matters – A new luncheon within our long-standing “Legislation Matters” series, this program will convene all Johnson County mayors and town leaders for a panel discussion on economic development.

  • September 30: Women Leaders – We are proud to announce Aspire is partnering with Franklin College and the University of Indianapolis on this important professional development program to now invite college students eager to enter the business world.

  • November 4: Aspire Economic Outlook Breakfast – Introducing a new signature event! What is the “state of” the Johnson County economy? How are we trending and what does the coming year hold in store? This corporate event will answer these questions, and more, for your business.

Aspire learned in 2020 that most local business leaders desire in-person events when viable, so long as health and safety protocols are carefully considered and implemented. Post-event attendee survey results rated Aspire excellent in making our guests feel safe.

But don’t discount the value you will gain from our virtual programs – legislative action, business tune-ups, community development happenings… and a little fun. It’s more important – and easier – than ever to stay connected.

Aspire Legislation Matters

The Aspire Legislation Matters series is an opportunity for member investors to spend time with elected officials. The program features lively discussion about public policy issues and specific legislation. Attendees are invited to submit questions and “vote” on key issues to give elected officials a visual cue on the local business community vibe.

January 8 Featured Program: Virtual panel discussion with our delegation to the Indiana General Assembly. Registered attendees will receive a digital gift code for lunch delivery. And don’t miss our NEW LIVE TRIVIA GAME, “Are you smarter than a legislator?” where you can win prizes and have fun testing your schoolhouse rock cred. (To play, you will need a second internet-enabled device like your smartphone or tablet.)
