Director's Cut Dear Friends, This has been a year like no other. As a result of the pandemic, HIGN and other NYU departments have been working remotely since early March. During these past months, our staff and NYU IT used available technology to complete a project that began more than a year ago - the redesign and launch of our Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing website. We are very excited and are dedicating this newsletter to introduce you to the new site. We have combined our ConsultGeri website with the HIGN website, making it easier to navigate with all of our resources in one location. Policy and Advocacy HIGN seeks to shape policy by educating elected officials about issues impacting the lives and well-being of older adults . The Coalition of Geriatric Nursing Organizations’ (CGNO) : Represents 28,700 nurses and is comprised of the leading associations representing nurses who provide geriatric care in a variety of clinical settings.
