“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,
as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10

Greetings from The Vineyard!

What is this ‘Vineyard’?” you ask? It’s our living network of opportunities to serve through Westminster – on campus, in our local community, and with our global mission efforts! We are rooted in the calling to use what we have been given to serve others and serve God. Indeed, our WPC Vineyard needs each of us to engage in service to reach its full potential.

Now…BIG. EXCITING. ACTION STEP! This morning we launched the VineyardMatch discovery tool. In just a few minutes, VineyardMatch can help you identify opportunities that are strong potential fits with your interests, gifts, and experience. From there, you can learn more about the specifics of those opportunities by checking out concise descriptions that have been compiled for the full range of volunteer roles (think task specifics, time commitments, active seasons of service, etc.). While many “FAQs” are answered in those descriptions, The Vineyard also contains contact information for leaders in our congregation who can help you learn even more and determine what may be the most rewarding service opportunities for you.
VineyardMatch is simple enough to complete on any smartphone, tablet, or computer. If paper is more your love language, we’ve got you covered! Just contact Cherrie Barton Henry, and she can assist you with a paper version that we can help enter into the system on your behalf.

Once you’ve completed the discovery tool, you can have your match results emailed to you (*though we’ve learned those can occasionally land in our junk/spam folders, so remember to take a look there if you don’t see your results come through right away).

Click Here to open the VineyardMatch!  Yep, right now is the perfect time. It’s faster than a short hymn! We promise you won’t be instantly whisked away to a committee meeting…though it could potentially be arranged. 😉

Thanks so much for joining us at The Vineyard!
