Meet our new training and curriculum specialist!

Our ALLMemphis team continues to grow! Help us welcome Beth Ambrose, our new training and curriculum specialist. She will work to ensure our curriculum and training materials help us expand our reach and meet the needs of schools, teachers and students.

Beth is a literacy advocate driven by the belief that access to education is a fundamental right. Her journey began in Memphis in 2016 when she pursued a master’s degree in urban education, where she quickly realized the impact of foundational literacy gaps. This led to her training in the Science of Reading and, ultimately, becoming a literacy instructional coach for seven years. She’s excited to continue actualizing ALLMemphis’ vision of a fully literate community by ensuring teachers receive meaningful and robust training.

We’ve enjoyed a successful back-to-school season!

School partner trainings are well underway, and our program specialists have so enjoyed seeing our partner teachers and their students back in the classroom. This year, we will continue learning, growing, and celebrating the power of a fully literate community!

Introducing our new ELA offering!

We are proud to offer English Language Arts (ELA) instruction for kindergarten and first grade students this year. Three of our partner schools – Millington Municipal Schools, Believe Memphis Academy, and Memphis College Prep – are now using our ELA curriculum, which is under a Science of Reading framework. We look forward to continuing to expand this service offering in the years to come!
