New Faces, New Titles

In recent weeks, OSM has added a few new faces to our staff. Here's a little about them and the role(s) they play at our school:
Rebecca McElfresh is Administrative Assistant at OSM-Portland. She loves all things Disney, and can't wait to return to the parks with her family. She started on May 17. Welcome Rebecca!
Ian Murray is Front Desk/Facilities Coordinator at OSM-Salem. He is a new arrival to the Pacific Northwest from Connecticut. He started work May 19. Welcome Ian!
Justine Davidson is Front Desk/Clinic Coordinator at OSM-Portland. In her spare time, she is a certified Yoga instructor. She started work June 11. Welcome Justine!
Dave Holden, LMT is OSM's new Director of Education! He is currently a Core Instructor, and previously served as Dean of Academics at Florida's Sunstate Academy. Welcome Dave!
Other Changes to Note

As of July 6, 2021, the following staff at Oregon School of Massage have new, more precise titles:

Be sure to connect with them if you have any questions about their departments, processes, etc.
NEW: Confidential Reporting Form

Are you seeing something in class that doesn't feel right? Are you hearing about issues through peers, instructors, or other members of the OSM community and don't know how to address them? OSM has launched a Confidential Reporting Form for students to report issues directly to the Vice President/General Manager. You will receive a response back no later than 3 business days after your initial submission. If you're unsure about whether to use the form, feel free to contact Tyler with questions. All submissions will be kept confidential, and will only be read by a single person.
Fall 2021 Schedule Out Now

At last, the Fall 2021 term schedule is here! Take a look at our Core and CE/Elective offerings, and be sure to contact us if you'd like to schedule an academic advising appointment. We'd love to help you plan your term! Reminder: Class registration starts Tuesday, August 10.
We Want to Hear from YOU!

All Hands! is designed as an OSM community newsletter for students, staff, and faculty. If you're interested in contributing to our publication every month, have an idea for a recurring piece, or something else you'd like to see here, fill out and submit our All Hands! Content Submission Form.
Reflection: OSM in 1988
OSM began in Milwaukie's Ariadne Center in 1984...

At that time, Oregon required only four classes for LMT licensure: Comprehensive Massage, Pathology, Kinesiology, and CPR. Check out this OSM-original tuition pricing sheet and enrollment agreement from 1988 we pulled from Archive. Can you believe those prices??
