What is AB Studios?

AB Studios is a dynamic edtech company creating engaging, video-based learning experiences for children, led by President Brian Heaton, who will also continue as AlphaBEST’s COO.

• AB Studios will continue creating engaging videos that enhance our curriculum units.
• We will also develop content for schools and programs outside of AlphaBEST’s direct network.

What this means for you:

• You’ll still receive the same innovative videos to support curriculum delivery.
• Teresa Klimek and Laura Sokol will remain with AlphaBEST to ensure seamless implementation.

What to Do If a Federal Agent Visits an AlphaBEST Program

With the recent focus on immigration, we’ve received questions about what to do if an ICE or other federal agent visits an AlphaBEST program.

While this is highly unlikely, here’s guidance from our legal counsel:

• Stay calm and do not argue.
• Ask for identification and write down their name, agency, and contact info.
• Request a warrant and follow these steps:
• If they have a warrant: Take a photo or copy it and send it to upper management immediately. Do not answer any questions—simply state, "I am not authorized to answer any questions."
• If they do not have a warrant: Ask them to leave and report the encounter to management. Federal agents cannot enter without a judicial warrant.
