Introducing Boston University Virtual Campus

Dear Students,

I hope you're all doing well! I'm writing today with some exciting news about the launch of the new Boston University Virtual Campus portal—please read carefully, as this will introduce new ways to engage with your Success Team, Teaching Team, and fellow students!

Beginning May 1st, the Online MPH program will officially join the BU Virtual Campus. You’ll notice a fresh new look and feel, along with enhanced features designed to streamline your student experience.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Easier Access to Support: Submit cases to your Learning Facilitator and Success Specialist, schedule appointments, and track your open and previous support requests—all in one place.
  • Stronger Connections: Connect with classmates and colleagues through the new searchable directory.
  • Affinity Groups & Events: Get involved with OL MPH Affinity Groups and keep up with upcoming Student Success events.
  • Centralized Resources: Access essential links and resources for the OL MPH Program, the School of Public Health, and BU as a whole.
  • Knowledge Center: Search for answers to frequently asked OL MPH questions.

Our goal is to make the BU Virtual Campus your go-to hub for finding answers and accessing the tools and support you need throughout your MPH journey.

Before we go live, I encourage you to log into MyBU Student Portal and ensure your contact information—especially your address—is up to date, as the Virtual Campus will pull that data directly from your MyBU profile.

We’ll follow up with an email once the new portal is live, along with instructions on how to bookmark the site and optional trainings to help you get oriented.

We are truly excited for this next chapter and confident it will enrich your experience in the Online MPH Program! For any questions about the BU Virtual Campus, email student success at olmphsuccess@bu.edu.

Warmly,

Mahogany Price-Oreyomi
