Overview

Created as a spring board to the career ascent of the IT professional, the CIO Executive Development Program is a unique three-day professional education conference written and presented by leading Silicon Valley CIOs and HMG Strategy, the leading global provider of innovative IT thought-leadership research, services and events. Case studies, personal experiences and practical models will provide interactive learning and valuable take-aways that will enhance both technical and leadership skills.

The program includes key business-focused content on strategy and business alignment, planning and management, budgeting and tracking, leadership and communication planning, governance, and IT innovation. The program is offered in partnership with the College of Business at SF State and HMG Strategy, LLC.

Who Should Attend

CIOs, IT executives and personnel identified as leaders who seek a professional education program to increase their competencies and continue lifelong professional learning.

Action-Oriented Program

The program is action-oriented with practical models, and actual working artifacts from the desks of CIOs. With all of this available, you will be working with the tools used by executives currently in a CIO role. These case studies will allow you to return to your organization with new perspectives and deliverables.

Experienced CIOs

Each participant receives a one-on-one follow-up meeting with one of the CIOs to address questions and increase your insight through discussing their own experiences with peers. LinkedIn users may join the program's alumni group to continue the discussion!
