Dear Business Affairs team,

Our division's strength comes from the people who make it work every day. As we continue to grow and evolve, it's important that we create intentional opportunities to listen, collaborate and build an environment where everyone feels connected and supported.

To that end, I'm pleased to introduce the Employee Engagement Advisory Group (EEAG).

The EEAG is designed to serve as a collaborative forum focused on strengthening staff engagement, morale and communication across the division. This group will provide leadership with valuable insight and recommendations to initiatives, programs and practices that enhance the employee experience and foster a positive, inclusive workplace.

Members of the EEAG will:

  • Advise on strategies to enhance employee satisfaction, recognition and professional development.
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Serve as a sounding board for new initiatives and policies that impact staff engagement.
  • Gather input from colleagues to ensure a broad range of perspectives are represented.
  • Help plan and support engagement activities and recognition efforts.

The group will include representatives from across departments and levels within the division to ensure diverse perspectives are reflected in the work. The EEAG will meet monthly and provide regular updates and recommendations to leadership.

Through this effort, we aim to strengthen our sense of community, improve how we communicate and collaborate and develop meaningful, actionable ways to support our staff. Most importantly, this group will help ensure that your voices continue to shape the direction of our division.

In the coming weeks, I invite you to express your interest in serving on the Employee Engagement Advisory Group by filling out the nomination form by June 3.

Thank you for all that you do to support our division and each other.

Sincerely,

Brandi Renton

Vice President for Business Affairs
