We are looking for a front façade – specifically the front door entrance to the home to feature on the cover of our next Parade Magazine!  

Entry Qualifications:

• The home must be built by a MHBA Builder Member;
• The home must have been entered in the Parade of Homes (past or present);
• The home must be made accessible to MHBA’s photographer (if the home entered has already been sold, it is the builder’s responsibility to gain the homeowner’s permission to take photos of the home).

How to Enter:

• Take a photo of your home's exterior (this does not need to be professionally done) - remember we want to see the front door specifically (see cover examples for reference)
• Submit the photo of the home to agomes@homebuilders.mb.ca, along with the following information: builder name, contact person, address of the home

Selection Process:

Phase 1

• The Parade of Homes Committee will vet the photos submitted.
• Once the finalists have been chosen, the MHBA will contact the builders and will make arrangements for our photographer to come out to the home and take professional photos as possible options for the cover.
• The builder will be responsible for providing any décor required for the photo shoot such as, but not limited to: flowers, vases, floor mats etc.

Phase 2

• After “magazine-worthy” photos have been taken of the finalists, the Parade Committee will select ONE to be featured in the upcoming Parade of Homes Magazine.
• The winning entrant will be notified.

Please note that the finalists not chosen will still be considered for future covers of the Parade Magazine. 

Disclaimer:

In an effort to promote inclusiveness for all members of the association, there will be no recognition of the builder company of the home used on the cover. The builder company of the home will remain anonymous.  

RIGHT TO USE PHOTOGRAPHS - By submitting a photo, you, the entrant, warrant that you have permission from the photographer to use the photographs submitted. These photos may be used by the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association.
