We are so excited to officially announce a brand new share option:
THE MINI!
The Mini Share is a brand new offering for the Summer Share 2018. Over the years, we have heard from many of our customers that they love Fresh Fork, but even the Small Share can be too much food.
The Mini Share includes
just 4 to 5 produce items per week
. Vegan option only. Upfront payment option only. It comes in a fun, bright yellow bag.
Built into the cost of the share is $220 in credits, which is an average of $10 per share week (the share costs $30 per week-- $660 for the whole 22 week season.) You can spend those credits at any point (you don't need to spend a certain amount each week), and like all credits they expire at the end of the season. If you run out of credits, you can always buy more!
So for example, a Mini Share in early June might look like this:
- 1 quart of strawberries
- 1 bunch of asparagus
- 1 bag of baby spinach
- 1 head of lettuce
- + Whatever extras you'd like to purchase!
You can buy your extras via
Special Order
or a la carte at the back of the truck. So for example, $10 in credits would get you 1 dozen eggs, 1 half gallon of milk & a 2# bag of rolled oats. If you want to get more than that, you can choose from hundreds of items we sell like grass-fed ground beef, Greek yogurt, feta cheese, cookies and so much more.
Mini Share subscribers can still take advantage of all the regular Fresh Fork membership benefits, like placing Special Orders, taking four weeks of vacation ($15 vacation week credit), buying extras at the trucks and attending our events. And just like our other shares, you can join at anytime, and if for whatever reason it doesn't work for you, all we need is one week's notice to change or cancel or your subscription.
The Small and Large Shares are still the best value in terms of getting the most food for your money (and the Small Share is still technically the cheapest share), but for those of you who want to be on 'Fresh Fork Light' and get a little bag, and buy your choice of extras from the truck, this is the plan for you.
