The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced the launch of the Quality Innovation Network–Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) 13th Statement of Work (SOW). IPRO, with Healthcentric Advisors and Qlarant, has been selected to lead the Mid-Atlantic CMS QIN-QIO (Region 2). Together, we will support providers in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.
IPRO been selected by CMS to participate in this important initiative. The program’s primary goal is to offer providers and practitioners high-quality, hands-on support tailored to your needs, helping you meet healthcare quality and safety goals for Medicare beneficiaries.
What Is Required from You to Participate?
This is a voluntary program, funded by CMS. Over the next five years, Mid-Atlantic CMS QIN-QIO (Region 2) quality improvement advisors will provide direct technical assistance and resources, advanced data analytic support, evidence-based intervention recommendations, and customized training. Focus areas include:
- Disease prevention and chronic condition management
- Behavioral health care
- Reducing all-cause harm with a focus on adverse drug events and healthcare acquired infections
- Advancing quality management infrastructure, including emergency preparedness and workforce development
- Care coordination and reducing hospital utilization
